In the spring, we offered the opportunity to register as a county or municipal election candidate as a Tehy member. We received plenty of registrations, as 303 members signed up for the county elections and 388 registered as a municipal election candidate. Tehy supported the candidates, for example, by offering a discount on campaign ads published in the Tehy magazine.

During the campaign period, Tehy also participated actively in public discussion by highlighting topics that are important to Tehy members. Tehy’s experts raised awareness of challenges related to the social care, healthcare and early childhood education sector in their blog during the elections. In addition, Tehy published the Driving Force Model for current and future decision-makers to help them resolve the social and healthcare sector crisis.
