All full and student members of Tehy are eligible to vote in the Tehy elections. The election is held online.
A total of eighty-three members will be elected to the Tehy Council. The Council makes decisions on matters such as advocating for Tehy members, approving collective agreements, industrial action and union activity policies.
Eligibility and right to vote
Information abut Tehy elections is shared on the union’s website, in membership bulletins and newsletters and through social media channels.
Members of Tehy professional branches who do not have unpaid membership fees by the end of 2024 and who the professional branch has approved as members by the end of January of the election year are eligible and have the right to vote in the election.
Also members of Tehy students’ association who have been accepted as members by the association by the end of January of the election year are eligible and have the right to vote.
