The inaugural meeting of the Social and Health Care Sector EWC was held this week in Stockholm, with Tehy represented by Jan Kauppinen and Emilia Pakka

Through the EWC, Tehy members will now be able to engage in direct dialogue with Attendo’s corporate management on transnational decisions that may have significant impacts on employees. These include, for example, mergers and acquisitions, organisational changes, and personnel policies.

A new dimension in advocacy for the social and health care sector

EWC activities are well established in many industrial and technological sectors and are now expanding into the social and health care and education sectors.

The goal is to build a new model of cross-border co-operation between employees and employers,  taking into account the sector’s unique characteristics and the needs of employees in an international operating environment.

Next, EWC activities will be launched for the early childhood education sector.
