Calculation of the membership fee

The membership fee is calculated based on all taxable income paid to you by your employer:

  • pay
  • union representative’s remuneration
  • additional holiday pay and remuneration
  • part-time work.

If you have several employers, you will pay your membership fee based on your total taxable earnings.

Payment of the membership fee

There are two ways to pay your Tehy membership fees. Either your employer can collect the membership fee directly from your salary or wages or you can pay the fee yourself.

Employer collection

The easiest way to ensure that your membership is up-to-date is to allow your employer to collect the membership fee automatically, charging it directly from your salary or wages. Please check your payslip every month to ensure that the fee has been charged.

This way, you do not need to calculate the necessary payment yourself every month, as your employer will take care of it for you.

Self-payment

If employer collection is not possible for some reason or if you choose to opt out, you can also manage your membership fee payments yourself.
